Audi Vietnam has significantly expanded its presence in Ho Chi Minh City with the inauguration of its first premium Audi Charging Lounge, showcasing the brand’s all-electric models and dedicated charging infrastructure.
On April 19, 2023, Audi Vietnam officially opened its first luxury fast-charging lounge in Ho Chi Minh City, demonstrating what electric vehicle charging and living in the electric era can look and feel like in the future. The new facility, located at the Audi branch on Tôn Đức Thắng Street, Sai Gon Ward is the latest Audi Charging Lounge and features three fully electric e-tron quattro models: the SUV, the GT, and the RS GT.
The new Audi Charging Lounge is equipped with an indoor DC fast-charging area featuring an EV One 180 kW charging station. This station can simultaneously charge two Audi vehicles and is designed with future expansion in mind to accommodate more high-voltage charging units.
Following the opening of the Audi Tân Bình Service Center in July 2022, the installation of the fast chargers at the new Charging Lounge in District 1 allows customers to achieve fast charging times of 20–30 minutes, with two cars capable of charging concurrently.
The new Audi Charging Lounge in Ho Chi Minh City seamlessly combines convenient charging infrastructure with a full display of all electric models for customers to explore, alongside a dedicated lounge area for relaxation or work.
Reflecting the Audi brand’s “Attitude defines the future” vision, the design of the new Audi Charging Lounge emphasizes cozy comfort blended with cutting-edge modernity across its more than 550 square meters in the city center. Every detail, including the interior furnishing, materials, lighting, leather elements, colors, and even the plants, contributes to the overall feeling of comfort.
“We redesigned the entire space, which was formerly an Audi service workshop, to transform it into a spacious, comfortable, and uniquely elegant lounge for our customers. The combination of concrete panels to innovate the horizontal and vertical light lines, along with the accent of the elegant staircase design, truly expands the sense of space—providing the feeling of a classic, luxurious art gallery where you can enjoy time for yourself,” stated Ms. Mariella Genet, Founder and Creative Director of Lifestyle Connected, the design company behind the Audi Charging Lounge.
In Vietnam, Audi currently offers three pure electric models: the e-tron 50 SUV, the e-tron GT quattro, and the RS e-tron GT quattro. The Audi Q8 e-tron quattro is also expected to arrive in Vietnam by the end of 2023.
